Sunplus Technology Co., Ltd, established in 1990, delivers IC solutions for multimedia home applications including DVD/VCD player, LCD TV, Digital TV and Set-Top-Box. Sunplus was listed on the main board of the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE) in January 2000, and successfully launched its Global Depositary Receipts (GDRs) on the London Stock Exchange under the symbol "SUPD" in March 2001.
