Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan, R.O.C. May 8th, 2006 - Sunplus Technology Co., Ltd. ("Sunplus" or "the company") (TAIEX: 2401, LSE: SUPD) today announced that monthly sales for April 2006 were NT$1,428 million and grew +3.03% comparing with April 2005. From April 2006, Sunplus revenue won't include LCD IC because of LCD IC Spinning-off to Orise Technology. April 2006 sales grew +21.01% comparing with April 2005 at same product lines sales contribution that excluded LCD IC.
