("Sunplus" or "the company") (TAIEX: 2401, FTSE: SUPD) today announce that effective October 1st, due to growing business, the Vice President Chin-Nai Tsen will become Special Assistant to President, and Mr. Chih-Hao Kung, the Deputy Director of Research and Development Division, will be appointed to Director of Consumer Product Business Unit. Mr. Chin-Nai Teng will be responsible for technology development and strategy planning. Mr. Kung has joined Sunplus over ten years and has rich knowledge and experience in the semiconductor industry. He will be in charge of the Consumer Product Business Unit.
