Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan, September 7, 2011 - Sunplus Technology Co., Ltd. ("Sunplus" or "the Company") (TAIEX: 2401, LSE: SUPD) today announced that monthly net sales for August 2011 totaled NT$210 million, a decrease of 2.19% compared to last month and 49.59% compared to the same month in 2010.

Net sales for January through August 2011 totaled NT$2,494 million, a decrease of 42.72% compared to the same period in 2010.
