The new organization comprises four major Functional Units: IC Design Unit, System Application Unit, Sales & Marketing Unit and Production Operation Unit. There is a Product Planning Center that reports to President and retained other supporting departments like Financial & Accounting Division, Administration Division, MIS Department and President Office.
Mr. Chih-Hao Kung who used to be Director of Consumer Product Business Unit is promoted to VP of IC Design Unit. The former Director of Operation Unit, Mr. Kuo-Bin Huang, is also promoted to VP of Production Operation Unit. And the System Application Unit is led by VP Mr. Ho-Jung Ou who would serve as leader of Sales & Marketing Unit concurrently. The VP of Image Product Business Unit, Chyn-Cherng Chen, is transferred to President Office.
