Sunplus Listed on TSE
Fabless IC company Sunplus is listed on the main board of the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE) under the symbol "2401" on Jan.27th 2000 with a current capital size of NT$2.69billion and 269 million shares. It is the 100th electronics company listed on TSE.

As a fabless IC company and the largest in Taiwan consumer electronics sector, Sunplus was founded in 1990 and had a compound annual growth rate of 30% for the last 5 years. It had its Initial Public Offering in the Over The Counter Stock Exchange on Sep.1997.

The product and marketing strategy of Sunplus is developing high quality, value added Application Specific Ics (ASICs) and Application Specific Standard Products (ASSPs). There are many product applications and around 250 IC products in the company that are steadily increasing with time. The company not only provides the best cost - performance products with the latest technology, but also offers the full commitment and technical support to customer.

In 1999, Sunplus' sales reached NT$4.17billion. Earning after income tax was around NT$1,300 million. EPS was NT$4.74.
