| Sunplus Monthly Sales Report - January 2010 |

| Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan, February 05, 2010 - Sunplus Technology Co., Ltd. ("Sunplus" or "the Company") (TAIEX: 2401, LSE: SUPD) today announced that monthly net sales for January 2010 totaled NT$611 million, a decrease of 13.65% compared to last month and an increase of 187.15% compared to the same month in 2009. The sales of multimedia IC for January 2010 was NT$605 million which decreased 13.52% compared to last month and increased 242.28% compared to the same month in 2009.
Sunplus will hold the investor conference of fourth quarter in 2009 in Ambassador Hotel Hsinchu at 14:00PM on Wednesday, February 10th, 2010.
