Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan, January 08, 2010 - Sunplus Technology Co., Ltd. ("Sunplus" or "the Company") (TAIEX: 2401, LSE: SUPD) today announced that monthly net sales for December 2009 totaled NT$708 million, a decrease of 14.21% compared to last month and an increase of 176.55% compared to the same month in 2008. The sales of multimedia IC for December 2009 was NT$700 million which decreased 13.97% compared to last month and increased 257.8% compared to the same month in 2008.
Net sales for January through December 2009 totaled NT$7,350 million, an increase of 20.62% compared to the same period in 2008.
