DTMB STB TURNKEY SOLUTION

Sunplus delivers the frontend DTMB demodulator SPHE6630 and backend MEPG decoder SPHE1002 as the total turnkey solutions for China terrestrial broadcasting STB and DTV applications while SPHE6630 offers high reception sensitivity and SPHE1002 provides all multimedia functions.

SPHE6630 DTMB demodulator is the most advanced TDS-OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex) multi-carrier demodulator. It is compliant with China DTMB terrestrial broadcasting standard (as defined in GB20600-2006 specification). It can be used in either PN=420 or PN=945 modes with 6, 7 or 8 MHz channels and support QPSK/16QAM/64QAM reception. LDPC channel decoder covers 0.4/0.6/0.8 coding rate. Meanwhile, SPHE6630 performs the extra-outstanding reception capability for mobile devices and good quality in the multipath or ACI environment.

SPHE1002 is the backend MPEG-2 decoder which is embedded the transport demultiplexer, MPEG-1/-2/-4 A/V decoding engine, USB, card reader, CAS, common interface, 2-channel audio DAC and 4-channel multi-format TV-encoder. And it also supports CVBS, S-video, component YCbCr/YpbPr, and RGB output formats. With mass production shipment, SPHE1002 is a very stable solution on both hardware and software for STB and DTV.
