Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan, May 8th, 2012 - Sunplus Technology Co., Ltd. ("Sunplus" or "the Company") (TAIEX: 2401, LSE: SUPD) today announced that monthly net sales for April 2012 totaled NT$364 million, an increase of 10.04% compared to last month and a decrease of 6.60% compared to the same month in 2011.

Net sales for January through April 2012 totaled NT$1,095 million, a decrease of 23.06% compared to the same period in 2011.
