SPV7050 is the first integration processor with HDMI 1.2 Rx, SIF, Audio Post-processing and Audio DAC, 10 pages Teletext without external memory.

The SPV7050 is a single-chip dual-channel LVDS system solution targeting at the MFM and entry level LCD TV market, which SPV7050 supports panel resolution up to FHD panel or even WUXGA Reduced Blanking Timing panel. Due to highly integration, SPV7050 can be the extra-low cost solution for entry level LCD TV while SPV7050 integrates high-speed video ADCs with PLL, HDMI 1.2 Rx, TV decoder with 2-D comb filter, 4-pair Audio Line-In, 2-pair Audio Line-Out, one SIF demodulator and audio decoder, audio post-processing, 2D de-interlacing, color management, font-based OSD engine, embedded RISC CPU, audio DAC and a dual channels 8-bit LVDS transmitter.

SPV7050 enables the manufacturers to make budget MFM/Entry Level LCD TV with good image quality because of significantly BOM cost reduction. Consumers will have quality viewing experience with the SPV7050-embedded TV as well. Furthermore, SPV7050 could apply to different kinds of TV applications with Sunplus other companion chips such SPHE8104D for multimedia TV, SPHE1003 for DVB-T DTV with recording function; SPHE6630 for China DTMB DTV with recording function and SPHE8202 for DVD player embedded TV.
