Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan, R.O.C. November 07, 2005 - Sunplus Technology Co., Ltd. ("Sunplus" or "the company") (TAIEX: 2401, LSE: SUPD) today announced that monthly sales for October 2005 were NT$1,725 million. The revenue from January 1st to October 31st in 2005 were NT$15,266 million and grew -3.06% comparing with the same period last year.

Meanwhile, Sunplus announced new assignment of R&D officers for growing product lines and business. Besides Mr. Chi-Hau Kung the R&D VP of IC design unit, the BOD assigned Mr. Wen-Kuan Chen as the VP of HE (Home Entertainment) IC design unit and Mr. Dun-Zheng Huang as VP of PE (Personal Entertainment) IC design unit.
