Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan, September 07, 2010 - Sunplus Technology Co., Ltd. ("Sunplus" or "the Company") (TAIEX: 2401, LSE: SUPD) today announced that monthly net sales for August 2010 totaled NT$417 million, a decrease of 18.36% compared to last month and 44.12% compared to the same month in 2009. The sales of Multimedia ICs for August 2010 was NT$409 million, which decreased 18.68% compared to last month and 42.55% compared to the same month in 2009.

Net sales for January through August 2010 totaled NT$4,355 million, an increase of 7.45% compared to the same period in 2009.
