Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan, August 06, 2010 - Sunplus Technology Co., Ltd. ("Sunplus" or "the Company") (TAIEX: 2401, LSE: SUPD) today announced that monthly net sales for July 2010 totaled NT$511 million, a decrease of 2.71% compared to last month and 21.08% compared to the same month in 2009. The sales of Multimedia ICs for July 2010 was NT$503 million, which decreased 2.2% compared to last month and 21.06% compared to the same month in 2009.

Net sales for January through July 2010 totaled NT$3,937 million, an increase of 19.11% compared to the same period in 2009.
