SPHE8388 is a highly integrated system-on-chip for In-Vehicle Infotainment applications with base on ARM Cortex-A9. SPHE8388 is pin-compatible with SPHE8368

It consists of disc reading front-end and AV data processing back-end. SPHE8388 can support DVD, and CD playback. It features MPEG1 / MPEG2 / MPEG4-SP / H.264 video decoders that can decompress full high-definition video streams.
